Charlotte Mason said, “The art of standing aside to let a child develop the relations proper to him is the fine art of education.” In this workshop, you will see what it looks like for teachers to stand aside and facilitate a lesson while students do the hard work of attending, narrating, and making connections. You will experience Charlotte Mason lessons first-hand as you take on the role of the student. In this immersion, you will get a better understanding of the steps of a lesson and how to implement narration as we explore the subjects of picture study, history, geography, and dictation.
